It is the mission of the Planning & Building Division to help citizens and businesses of Yelm visualize their future.
The Planning & Building Division enables businesses to carry out their plans, and to maintain their vision through ongoing outreach. The team is responsible for planning and permitting, promoting economic development, and is involved in a number of boards and commissions who advise the Mayor and City Council.
