Judge Thomas L. Meyer 
The second of eights sons, born and raised in Olympia, WA, Judge Meyer attended local schools and graduated from Gonzaga Law School in 1974. Prior to law, he worked as a carpenter and commercial fisherman. The Honorable Thomas L. Meyer has served as Yelm’s Municipal Court Judge since 1992.

Court Administrator, Sonia S. Ramirez
Originally from Texas, Sonia has been a Lacey, WA resident since 2005. She has worked in the legal field since 1999 in Texas, California and now Washington. Besides being a mother of three very active children, Sonia enjoys volunteering in the community, cooking, Zumba, and spending time with family and friends. Sonia joined the City of Yelm family in 2013.

Donni grew up in the town of Yelm and is a 2008 Yelm High School Graduate. She worked in town as a Secretary for attorney, Bernard L. Perez, for 4 years before joining the City of Yelm as the Court Clerk.   In her free time, Donni enjoys spending time with her husband and twin girls, reading, yoga, and doing projects around the house.




Garrett 1Garrett Ratfield, City Prosecutor
Garrett Ratfield is an associate at Dille Law, PLLC whose practice emphasizes real estate, business, landlord/tenant, and trust and estate litigation. Mr. Ratfield graduated from the University of San Diego where he studied finance. After volunteering with Americorps for one year, he began studying at the University of Washington School of Law. Mr. Ratfield is a member of the Washington State Bar Association.

Daniel B. Havirco, Jr.

Daniel B. Havirco, Jr. has practiced law for over twenty years, with a strong background in criminal law.  Currently, his practice emphasizes criminal defense, administrative law, and health care provider licensing and discipline issues. After graduating from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, he worked as an auditor for the Internal Revenue Service.  He graduated from the University of Oreon School of Law in 1990 and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association. Aside from the practice of law, he studied the piano for several years, and currently enjoys playing several varieties, especially jazz.  His other interests include hiking, skiing and cycling.
