Yelm Community Center

Situated in Yelm City Park, this facility seats 250 and is both used for community events and available to the public for rent. It is located in a perfect setting for banquets, weddings, receptions, meetings, and conferences.
The Yelm Community Center includes a large event room that can be partitioned into two meeting rooms; a commercial kitchen; a lobby, and an outdoor terrace. The event room features vaulted ceilings, polished concrete floors, and garage doors opening onto 2nd Street and the terrace overlooking Yelm City Park.
With plenty of paved parking and the park setting, it's an ideal location for banquets, weddings, receptions, conferences, and other gatherings—large or small. Our staff will also be available the day of your event to provide assistance including the physical set-up of the rooms. We offer audiovisual equipment including projectors, projection screens, microphones, and wireless internet.
Our banquet supplies include stacking chairs, 60" round tables, 6' rectangular tables and bistro tables. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils containing plates, cups, saucers, silverware, glasses, water pitchers, and coffee carafes.

The minimum rental for event rooms is 2 hours Monday through Thursday and 5 hours Friday through Sunday. The minimum rental for the kitchen without a room is 5 hours.
